“Life is short but also, like, terribly and insufferably long at the same time.”
“I am under no obligation to make sense to you.”
“Say perhaps to drugs.”
Marlow’s 5’9’’ frame has always been on the thinner side and trades voluptuous, womanly curves and a big bust for long limbs and sharp angles. While it bothered her as a teenager, she no longer pays her body type any attention. She’s never been the type to build big muscles, but that doesn’t mean she isn’t athletic. She grew up surfing in a coastal California town and has spent a lot of her adult life hiking and climbing.
Marley’s is a natural redhead with looser curls that fall a little past her shoulders. She’s always been predisposed to painfully red sunburns that form in an alarmingly small amount of time in the sun. For this reason, she carries very high spf sunscreen with her at all times. Freckles of varying darkness and size form in numerous clusters on her face and arms, especially in the summer. She has two nose piercings - a septum and one in the left nostril - and several black and white patchwork tattoos on her arms.

Marlow's Story

Marlow could be described as a chill, relaxed individual with a love for the outdoors. Whether it’s badly skiing, expertly surfing, hiking, or climbing, she is always game. She’s always genuinely herself and willing to share a smoke with anyone interested. Upon first impression, Marley is definitely a good ole fashioned hippie, though that doesn’t mean she has no ambitions.
Over the past couple of years, Marley was able to establish herself on the freelancer lists of several travel and nature publications. Between these assignments and helping biologists and environmentalists capture certain ecosystems for studies, she is constantly traveling and staying in places for weeks at a time. In between photography assignments, Marlow picks up temp jobs at her “home base” to pad her bank account.
After moving into a house a few years ago with a group of mismatched individuals, Marlow has been treating her current location as home base. She can’t bring herself to permanently leave the rag tag group behind and always has an exuberant welcome from them when she comes back from a trip.
